“Plant tree save life” this famous quote uttered by more or less each and every political leaders, social worker and common people of India but hardly a few people transformed this quote into an action because nobody as such is bothered about the environment, but this uneducated Indian Daripalli Ramaiah the man who believes in action rather than lecturing people about the importance of planting trees. This man who truly recognised the need for planting trees to save our environment is desperately planting saplings in each and every vacant ground he passes by, he is a simple man with high thinking who is trying hard to make our environment pollution free and trying to improve lifestyle of the people.
We all are aware with the fact that nowadays cutting tree is becoming more essential than growing them but this man proves to be something different whose only mission in life is to plant more and more tree wherever he could, it is believed that Ramaiah has planted more than ten million saplings and is going on planting more and more with every passing days.
His life and background:
As nobody has any kind of exact idea about when and how he had started his mission of planting trees but within a few days he had became a very popular stature of his native place that is Khamman district part of a Telengana State. Since many years Ramaiah is doing a lot of hard work to give back our earth the cover of greenery all over. He cycles for a long time and go on planting saplings wherever he could a fertile land and he truly believes from the core of his mind that one day he will be successful in making the earth green and healthy. He took the responsibility on his shoulder to change our earth and he decided he will continue his journey till his death and will plant saplings sufficient to make our earth green. Being not so educated still he read ample amount of books on planting trees which will be helpful for him to become successful in his mission. By planting trees he gets an immense pleasure and when they grows up into a big tree then he becomes fully contented and he is sanguine that one day he will be able to free our earth from global warming by saving out nature.
Many people had said many things about making our earth green but hardly anyone has ever thought of the solution according to him being a part of our planet it is his duty to restore the bad condition of our earth so this simple man thought of a very simple yet the most integral thing of bringing back the golden days of our planet simply by planting innumerable trees. But nobody took this initiative before Ramaiah sir, today inspired by him many people all over our country is giving importance of planting trees. Sixty eight years old Rmaiah along with his better half Janamma selflessly planting huge number of trees in order to protect our environment from becoming polluted they not only planted the trees but also took great care in bringing them up, people calls Ramaiah as ‘Vanajeevi’ as he is the man who truly loves nature and is aware about its importance for makind. His main mission is to grow plant especially the bio diesel plants, and shaddy trees such as neem, mango, and biodiesel plants like pongamia in his native village Khamman and its nearby districts, it is been said that till date he is successful in planting more than one crore plantlet and trees.
His journey towards saving the planet:
The government of Andhra Pradesh gave him special recognition for his relentless contribution towards the country and he is also getting paid for his hard work and selfless service towards nature. Unfortunately as Ramaiah is growing old day by day so in this situation he is finding it difficult to continue his hard work by travelling in cycle continuously so nowadays he has hired an auto rickshaw to carry out his mission of planting saplings. Throughout his journey his better gave him a continuous support so that he could carry out his job smoothly, saplings which are planted by Rmaiah was continuously protected by Janamma so that they could build up into a healthy and wealthy tree or plant in future, she always takes utnmost care of the plantlets planted by her husband by giving all kinds of protection needed for their growth. According to Mr Ramaiah it is quite difficult for him to remember exactly how many saplings and trees are planted by him over the years but what he says that he likes to keep faith in action and not just in speech. The bio-fuel plants planted by him not only protecting our environment but also giving a good amount of productivity towards the environment.
Getting inspired by him many people are coming forward towards planting more and more number of trees in various villages and towns people are spending their precious time in planting saplings day by day, it is because of him the awareness of planting trees has become a serious task for the people. He urges to the government that they should think of including pictures which will show the importance of planting trees on the currency notes so that the citizens could get more encouraged for creating tree plantation and in this way he wants to popularise the importance of making our earth green to the mass so that each and every citizen of not only our country but of whole world could think that planting tree is the most essential duty of our lives.

The man who set out on a route created by him, the mission of making the earth green all alone by himself he believes that like we take care of our own home by ourselves just like that we should perform some duties towards our earth which is also a home for us and we should have some kind of responsibility in saving our home our planet.
