We all are well acquainted with several matrimonial sites and apps which are quite popular in match making and they are growing in their popularity day by day. These kinds of sites are successfully doing their business and earning quite a good amount along with lot of fame. But the lady called Kalyani Khona thought of doing something different with the matrimonial app, before her concept nobody really bothered about the disable people out there and there were no match making happened between two disable people with the help of the so called renowned matrimonial sites but this lady thought about those people who are taken for granted in our society and nobody thought for their marital life but this young lady thought for these people and brought smile to many of those unwanted people of our society.
According to the general people giving a job and a home to live is enough for a disabled person but nobody thought of their personal life their conjugal life that they too are humans and have some feelings, but no one except this young lady had ever thought about it so deeply before. She was the lady who thought something innovative to give the pleasure of conjugal life to these people by introducing a brand new matrimonial app especially for the disabled people, and within a few years she is very successful in her project and till date she is successfully doing her match making job and many disabled people are happily married through her organization.
Her life and background:
Kalyani Khoma the lady who never believed in any difference between the idea of able and disable, she judged everyone to be a normal person who has the right to live in this world with dignity. It was the thought of 21 year old Kalyani Khona prior starting her matrimonial app especially for the disabled people. It was India’s first matrimonial app which is made for the matchmaking of disabled people. It is the common people thought that the people with some kind of disability would never get married to any one, and if miraculously sometimes they gets a companion for themselves then they started to think brutal about them, many kinds of chauvinism takes place that time but nobody is ready to accept the fact that physically challenged people also have a same heart same feeling like other so called normal people.
Kalyani was a girl with good education background finalize this project after going through twenty new ideas then the organization Wanted Umbrella came to her mind before finalize the project she got a lot of guidance from her father whose valuable ideas made her more confident about this innovative idea. Before starting Umbrella Kalyani was the president of AIESEC of the Mumbai branch as well as she was doing her internship from a university at Brazil. While she was going through the other twenty ideas of her mind and was confused about her main motive and at that time she had done a lot of jobs like working for a NGO, teaching English to Brazilian kids, trekking the Himalayas working at BPO etc. She has a liking towards meeting new people and exploring about them and through this process she somehow gets connected with different kind of people belonging to different genres. The idea of doing something for the disabled people came to her mind much later as she never thought of doing something for them before but one day her life took a new turn when she was looking for a office and suddenly came to know about the fact that disabled people are not allowed in office premises and that day her life changed and from that day onwards she started exploring about the life of the different physically challenged people and she confronted the fact that due to the weak infrastructure of our country the disabled people are treated with sympathy and so they have very few opportunities to prove themselves that they are no less than the normal human being.
Her work and building up Inclov:
While the matrimonial sites are over flooding all over the world for the normal couples but nobody thought of making a special matrimonial site for those physically challenged special people it was Kalyani’s thought that create a revolution that she refuse to call these special people as disable rather she likes to refer them as differently- ables people of our society who has the 100% right to live their life with all kinds of happiness they deserves. Kalyani did a loing term research work prior starting her project and she also met Prabha Panse who had also set up a comparable organization like that of Kalyani’s in the year 1980 but as the technology was not so strong at that time so her initiative was kept unknown to most of the people, Kalyani took many valuable tips from Prabha Panse and set out in her mission. At first she made some individual profiles of few differently- abled person both male and female and created a site but she didn’t received much positive response and then she decided to set up an agency with some of her friends called Wanted Umbrella in Mumbai and she received a lot of positive response and was successful in match making of various couples.
Before starting this organization she also thought about the security of the people so that she never end up ruining somebody’s life so a registration is compulsory with proper documentation and a lifetime membership with a fee of rupees 3000,they are very particular about the authenticity of each and every document so that nobody can create a fake profile. After the immense success of Wanted Umbrella agency she thought of making something big and more popular which could be available to the people more easily. So she thought of preparing a matchmaking application for the disable people and till today she and her team is successful in finding out perfect match for the hundreds of disable couple. At this point of time INCLOV is the internationally first match making application for the disabled people where these people can choose their partner independently. This lady and her team made the impossible possible by creating such a great idea which changed the lifestyle of those special people who belongs to a special place in our society.
