Not only cricket or badminton or football, but also body building and wrestling is being encouraged by India as a whole. And with exposure, even the players are blooming up and getting trained for better competition and that they can beat the others out in the battle field. Winning awards at a national level or even at the international level is commendable and not all of us have the capability of doing it.
Wasim khan is the one who is known for creating the history of India. He is the one who did win the title in the international bodybuilding and fitness federation event in Rome in June 2015. He seems to be the only Indian who has won two back to back overall IBFF titles. He won the first IBFF title in 2014 in Slovenia and now in Rome, 2015. He made India proud of him and that encouraged the other body builders to be creating history for India just like he did.
In the IBFF awards, he as not only won one gold medal but several other medals and stands first overall among almost 350 participants from 37 countries altogether. It is a feeling of pride and honor that out of 350 other participants belonging to 37 different backgrounds and cultures, which did practice and build up the body in the way he did and yet he wins and the victory lies in his hands.
He was awarded the title of ‘Mr. Universe’ at the IBFF, 2014, the title of ‘Mr. World’ at IBFF 2015 and mentions that he is aiming at the title of the ‘Mr. Olympia’ which is said to be the most coveted title in the field of bodybuilding.
While mentioning his next aim, he also did say thanks to his family, especially his wife who supported her for this decision of getting into body building and who helped her gaining such body, India for giving him the opportunities and stages to portray his talent and let him know as to where he stand and of course, Allah, who gave him the power to be strong and powerful, and that let him move forward with passion.
He was amazed by the winner of the IBFF titles and never believed that it was him. He always is grateful for what he has achieved and prays for the betterment of all.
With this, he inspires the other budding body builders to move out of their towns and villages, train themselves strong enough such that they stand chance to win the various awards at the national level and thereon move towards victory at the international level and give the feeling of pride and honor, not only your family and friends but to nation as a whole.
The successive achievements and titles make him more passionate about achieving the next title of ‘Mr. Olympia’ which he really wishes to grab in his hands.
The passion and the attitude with which he has reached this stage are simply not commendable. Every part in him has made efforts to reach and achieve success so close. And therefore, he deserves what he has paid for.
